Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives?

The Care First Physiotherapy Service is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our growing allied health team and provide high-quality, person-centred services to NDIS participants.

We are passionate about supporting people with disabilities to improve their communication, independence and overall quality of life.

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will work with NDIS participants across different age groups and support needs, helping them develop communication skills, improve swallowing and feeding abilities, and achieve their individual goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Assess communication, speech, language and social communication difficulties.
- Develop individualised speech pathology intervention plans.
- Provide therapy for children and adults with communication difficulties.
- Support participants with swallowing and feeding difficulties within your scope of practice.
- Assess and support participants requiring Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
- Prepare detailed assessment reports and recommendations for NDIS funding.
- Complete progress reports and outcome assessments.
- Collaborate with families, support coordinators, educators and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide evidence-based therapy tailored to individual participant needs.




- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and NDIS requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia and eligibility to practise professionally.
- Experience working with NDIS participants.
- Strong clinical assessment and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with people with disabilities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
