Our client delivers integrated engineering, construction and maintenance services across transport, utilities, resources and infrastructure, supporting the development and ongoing operation of essential assets across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of civil construction and road infrastructure projects across the Perth metropolitan area. Based out of Maddington, you will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate works, monitor project performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This role is well suited to an engineer with experience in asphalt, spray seal, road construction, or civil infrastructure projects who enjoys a combination of office and site-based responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate project planning, tender handovers, and project delivery

- Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, and resource utilization

- Support management of project safety, quality, contracts, and budgets

- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews

- Prepare project records, progress claims, invoices, and reports

- Ensure works comply with specifications, policies, and procedures

- Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and non-conformances

- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships





- Participate in toolbox meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

- Support and mentor junior team members

Skills and Experience Required

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering

- Proven engineering experience within the construction industry

- Asphalt and/or spray seal experience highly preferred

- Understanding of civil construction, quality, and safety systems

- Experience with project planning, cost control, and budgeting

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

- Self-motivated with a proactive and solutions-focused approach

- Experience in road construction, pavements, or civil infrastructure projects (desirable)
