About the role

My client is looking for an APAC AI Lead to drive the adoption and development of practical AI solutions across their brokerage and capital markets business.

Working closely with brokers, desk heads, and senior leadership teams, you will identify high-value opportunities to leverage Generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, and workflow automation to improve productivity, enhance client engagement, and streamline front-office processes.

This role combines AI innovation, stakeholder management, and financial markets expertise. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business users and technology teams, ensuring AI initiatives deliver measurable business value while aligning with global AI governance and transformation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with brokers, desk heads, and business leaders across APAC to identify high-value AI use cases.

- Design, prototype, and implement AI-powered solutions that improve front-office productivity and workflow efficiency.

- Drive adoption of Generative AI, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted development capabilities.

- Leverage market data, trading platforms, and internal systems to develop business-focused AI applications.





- Translate business challenges into scalable technology solutions.

- Collaborate with global AI, technology, and transformation teams to align regional initiatives with enterprise standards.

- Measure and communicate business outcomes, user adoption, and operational improvements.

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on the practical application of AI across capital markets workflows.

Requirements

- Experience delivering AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives within financial services, capital markets, trading, or brokerage environments.

- Solid understanding of front-office workflows and capital markets products.

- Proven ability to engage senior business stakeholders and translate business challenges into technology solutions.

- Experience working with market data platforms, trading workflows, and business applications.

- Familiarity with Generative AI, AI-assisted coding tools, and emerging AI technologies.

Good to have

- Experience with platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, OMS, EMS would be an advantage

- Knowledge of Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, or other capital markets products.
