This is a Manufacturing and field installation building and maintenance role from commencement through to completion. You will work with other tradespeople and subcontractors, to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful applicant will manufacture aluminum products including glazing and assist with installation as required.
- Manufacturing & Building and Installing residential windows & Sliding Doors & Screen Doors
- Building and Installing commercial shop fronts
- Making and Installing security doors
- Scoping work on site for the purposes of quoting with team members
- Roller Shutters installation support with other team members
- Manufacture of security doors
- V6 Window and commercial software for drawings (Not critical)
Key responsibilities
- In Factory Manufacturing & On site installation of manufactured products
- Work with carpenters, apprentices, other trades and subcontractors across multiple projects
- Inspect works and ensure workmanship meets McMullen Trades' quality standards, plans, specifications and customer requirements
- Undertake site inspections, measurements and assessments for upcoming works
- Identify materials, labour and other resources required to complete works
About you
- Trade qualification in Glazing is preferred
- Demonstrated experience as a aluminium fabricator with strong practical building knowledge
- Experience working with multiple trades and subcontractors
- Good understanding of residential and commercial building and maintenance works
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make practical decisions on site
- Current driver's licence
