About the role

We are seeking a skilled Aluminium Window and Door Fabricator to join our manufacturing team at our Noosaville facility. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to utilise your fabrication expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As an Aluminium Window and Door Fabricator, you will play a vital role in our production process, ensuring that every product meets our exacting standards for quality and precision. Your work will directly contribute to the success of Horizon Windows & Doors and the satisfaction of our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Fabricate aluminium window and door frames according to specifications and technical drawings

- Operate and maintain fabrication machinery and equipment, including cutting, drilling, and assembly tools

- Measure, cut, and shape aluminium components with precision using appropriate tools and techniques

- Assemble window and door frames, ensuring all joints are secure and meet quality standards

- Perform quality checks throughout the fabrication process to identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies

- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe in accordance with health and safety regulations

- Maintain accurate records of production and any issues encountered during the fabrication process

- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines





- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as an aluminium fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing environment

- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

- Competence in operating fabrication machinery and tools safely and accurately

- Sound knowledge of aluminium properties and fabrication techniques

- Attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistency and precision in your work

- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in a manufacturing environment

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify solutions to fabrication challenges

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety

- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
