Develop into Cranecorp's Future Lead Engineer | Early Career Engineers Encouraged to Apply
Rare opportunity to develop into the lead engineering role within a national heavy lift and transport business.
Cranecorp Australia is seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to join our Technical team. This role has been created as part of a succession planning strategy, with the successful candidate working closely with senior leadership to develop the specialist skills and knowledge required to become the company's engineering expert.
For an ambitious early-career engineer with a baseline level of experience, this presents a unique opportunity to gain exposure to complex lifting and transportation projects while building a long-term career in a highly specialised field.
Why this role is different?
Most juniour engineering roles place you within a large team where it can take years to gain meaningful responsibility.

What you'll be doing
- Developing lift studies and engineered lifting solutions.

- Developing transport plans and load restraint solutions.
- Supporting operational teams with engineering and technical advice.
- Reviewing lifting and transport documentation for compliance.
- Utilising AutoCAD and engineering software to develop practical project solutions.
- Working directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide value-added outcomes.
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to sites and project locations.

- Direct mentoring and development from experienced industry leaders.
- Exposure to complex and high-profile lifting and transport projects.
