CJD’s Port Hedland Branch is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team!

If you know a thing or two about trucks and construction equipment, know administration is your thing, can organise a busy service centre and like being part of a supportive team, this could be the role for you!

As CJD's Service Advisor, you’ll provide essential support to our service department, from raising workshop PO’s, ordering parts, processing manufacturer warranty claims and communicating with our customers. It’s a busy, but rewarding position where no two days are the same.

Whether you’re an experienced Service Advisor or a Mechanic ready for something different (less physically demanding and office based), this is a great opportunity to grow your skills and continue your career with CJD.

This is not a FIFO position, the successful candidate will need to be residential in Port Headland

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate customer bookings, raise work requests, and manage site access and mobilisation administration.

- Prepare and maintain the weekly workshop calendar, training schedule, and work order documentation.

- Monitor work in progress, update customers, and manage phone enquiries.

- Collate parts lists, raise workshop purchase orders, and process warranty documentation.

- Finalise invoicing once work orders are signed off by the Supervisor.

- Provide general administrative support for workshop requests, contractors, and inspections.

To be successful, you’ll need:





- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive or heavy equipment industry

- Robust computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Pronto)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- High level of professionalism and well-presented with a friendly, approachable manner

- Ability to work under pressure, juggle multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail

- A collaborative team player who provides great service to both internal and external customers

- A current driver’s licence
