NPI Superintendent required by Top Tier Subcontractor for Permanent Role

Your new company

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced NPI Superintendent to join a well-established mining operation in Western Australia.
This is a senior site leadership position with responsibility for the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of Non-Process Infrastructure across the operation. You will lead the NPI function, overseeing critical infrastructure, utilities, facilities and contractor services that support day-to-day site operations.

Your new role

As NPI Superintendent, you will take ownership of the performance, maintenance and reliability of site infrastructure and supporting assets, while leading and developing a high-performing NPI team.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and developing the NPI team to deliver safe, reliable and high-quality operational outcomes
- Managing the maintenance and reliability of site infrastructure, facilities, utilities and supporting assets
- Overseeing planning, scheduling and resource allocation across the NPI function
- Managing contractor and supplier performance and key site interfaces
- Working closely with Operations, Maintenance and HSEQT teams
- Driving continuous improvement, asset reliability and cost-effective maintenance strategies
- Ensuring compliance with statutory, environmental and site requirements
- Supporting critical site infrastructure, including aerodrome and utilities management where applicable
- Fostering a high-performance culture built on safety, accountability, respect and continuous improvement





What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong leadership experience within mining maintenance, infrastructure or asset management environments, along with:

- A relevant trade qualification or equivalent maintenance background
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
- Proven experience leading and developing site-based teams
- Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement experience
- Excellent planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A strong understanding of safety, statutory compliance and operational risk
- A commitment to operational excellence, asset reliability and continuous improvement
- Previous experience in remote FIFO mining operations will be highly regarded
