About the Role
The College is seeking applications from committed and dynamic Education Assistants interested in assisting students with special needs. We have two wonderful opportunities to join a team of passionate professionals who are committed to our Inclusive Learning philosophy.
- Full-time, ongoing, commencing Term 1, 2027
- Full-time, 12 months fixed-term, commencing Term 1, 2027
About You
Our ideal candidates will be appropriately qualified, hold current National Police Clearance and WWC clearance in addition to;
- A personal commitment to the College Values, Vision and Mission underpinning the delivery of a Catholic based education to students in the College community.
- Ability to foster nurturing and positive relationships with students to cater for their needs
- Experience in assisting teachers in the delivery and evaluation of planned education programs
- Ability to assist students undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting
- Ability to assist with student education by having an understanding of health and physical disabilities of the student(s) in their care
- Ability to work cooperatively and enthusiastically in a team towards achieving a common vision for learning
- Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the College
- Willingness to support the extra-curricular program of the College
