About the role

Centenary Pool Mart is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team in Sherwood 4075. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work in the pool maintenance and services industry. As a Pool Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that pools are maintained to the highest standards, providing essential technical expertise to keep residential pools, clean, and fully operational. Your work will directly contribute to the satisfaction and safety of our clients, making this a strategically important role within our service-driven business.

Key responsibilities

- Performing routine pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, filtration system checks and chemical balancing

- Testing and monitoring water quality using appropriate equipment and adjusting chemical levels to meet safety standards

- Inspecting and servicing pool pumps, filters, heaters and other mechanical equipment

- Identifying and diagnosing technical faults and carrying out necessary repairs to pool systems

- Installing and maintaining pool equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators, heaters & more.

- Providing excellent customer service and advice regarding pool care and maintenance

- Responding to service calls and addressing urgent pool-related issues promptly

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in pool maintenance and servicing.

- Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, filtration systems and other pool equipment

- Proficiency in using testing equipment and water analysis tools

- Ability to diagnose technical problems and implement effective solutions

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards





- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in outdoor environments

- Reliability and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Valid driver's licence for travel between job sites
