Advance Healthcare have been providing multi-disciplinary care to the community for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on the highest standards in health service delivery with an integrated multi-disciplinary and evidence-based approach to patient management.

Chronic pain is complex and optimally treated in a multi-disciplinary pain management program (including physiotherapy, psychology, and medical). Evidence on the positive impacts and effectiveness of our programs compared to 120 other pain management providers has been demonstrated in the Electronic Persistent Pain Outcomes Collaboration (ePPOC). With seven clinics, we are one of the largest Pain Management providers in Australia. We are the preferred providers for TAC and WorkSafe (Network Pain Management) as well as several large insurance and employer organisations.

We are currently looking for a psychiatrist providing services to our patients undergoing multi-disciplinary pain management. Options are also available providing services outside of the pain management program for private patients with ADHD and/or complex trauma with the associated higher fees. We have a significant waiting list of patients wanting this service.

About this chance

More information about this role includes:

- Earn up to $800K per annum pro rata as a contractor with a diverse caseload of pain management and ADHD/complex trauma patients

- Be based anywhere in Australia using the Doxy telehealth platform,



with the option to be based at one or more of our seven clinics face to face

- Full time work available with a minimum of 1 day per week required

- Industry leading reception and administrative support

- We have a long waiting list for psychiatry services. Practitioners can expect a full list of patients on commencement

- Work in a highly collaborative and culturally diverse team of over 70 physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and physiotherapists

- Options to participate in our world-class clinical research projects (including publication opportunities) with a focus on persistent pain, mental health problems, ACT/CBT. New projects are welcome with the support of our industry leading clinical research systems

- Additional training and mentoring opportunities depending on individual interests including research, business, technology, or clinical special interests

About you

- Full registration with AHPRA and fellowship with RANZCP

- A genuine interest in providing Psychiatry services as part of a dynamic and professional multi-disciplinary pain management team

- Alignment with the Advance Healthcare values and vision

- Recently purchased computer with Microsoft Office 365 installed
