Who we're looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join a well-regarded Sydney law firm on an initial 3-month secondment, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position.

This opportunity is suited to an experienced litigation lawyer who is confident managing a broad range of disputes and can quickly integrate into an established team. The firm is seeking a seasoned litigator who can hit the ground running, take ownership of matters from day one, and operate with minimal supervision.

Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders, you will provide support across a varied litigation practice, contributing both strategic insight and hands-on legal expertise. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys fast-paced, high-quality legal work and is looking for an immediate contracting opportunity.

About the Role

You will:

- Manage and support a broad range of litigation and dispute resolution matters.

- Provide strategic legal advice across various stages of litigation.

- Draft and review pleadings, affidavits, submissions, correspondence and other key legal documents.





- Assist with court proceedings, negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.

- Work directly with partners and senior stakeholders on complex matters.

- Conduct legal research and provide commercially focused recommendations.

- Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight timeframes.

- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

About You

You will have:

- Significant post-admission experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.

- A proven ability to manage litigation matters with minimal supervision.

- Strong technical legal skills and sound commercial judgement.

- Experience working across a broad range of litigation matters.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.

- Availability to commence a full-time, Sydney-based engagement in the near term.
