About the Role:
We are looking for a trade-qualified, highly reliable residential framing professional who bridges the gap between a standard on-tool carpenter and a competent site leader. You will work directly alongside the business owner but must have the confidence and capability to step up and run the site independently when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Executing residential timber framing and structural fixings to a premium trade standard.
- Interpreting construction plans, establishing layout lines, and working out site measurements accurately.
- Leading and managing a small on-site crew, ensuring productivity, safety, and strict site rules are maintained on days the owner is off-site.
- Managing tool inventory and keeping site operations moving efficiently.





What We Are Looking For:

- Trade Qualification: Must hold a formal Certificate III in Carpentry (this is non-negotiable—no short courses or unqualified applicants).
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated history in residential framing and structural work where you have handled layouts independently.
- Natural Ad-Hoc Leadership: Strong communication skills and the ability to command respect from a small crew, enforce tidy site habits, and keep builds on schedule when the boss has to step away for client meetings or administrative tasks.
- Reliability: Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport (ute or van preferred), and a complete kit of skilled-grade hand and power tools.
