About the role
We’re looking for a caring, reliable Support Worker to join our team supporting autistic people to live well in their own homes and communities. You’ll help participants build independence, confidence and a life that reflects their own goals and choices.

What you’ll do

- Provide personal care and daily living support with dignity and respect
- Support participants with routines, meal preparation and household tasks
- Help participants take part in community activities, appointments and social connections
- Communicate in ways that suit each person, whether that’s visual supports, low-verbal communication or alternative methods
- Respect sensory needs and preferred routines, and keep the environment predictable and calm
- Follow each participant’s support plan, our clinical governance and safeguarding procedures, and the NDIS Practice Standards
- Keep accurate, timely progress notes and report incidents or concerns promptly

About you

- Experience in disability support, particularly supporting autistic people with personal care and daily living
- Patience, warmth and a genuine commitment to person-centred,



strengths-based support
- Positive judgement and the ability to follow plans and procedures consistently
- Clear communication skills and a respectful, professional approach with participants, families and colleagues
- Fluency in Urdu is highly regarded, as it helps us match workers with participants and families who speak it

Essential requirements

- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain them)
- Right to work in Australia
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Disability, or equivalent experience

Pay: $45.28 per hour
