Customer Service & Admin Assistant (Casual – WFH, Melbourne Based)

At Stockman Steaks, we are dedicated to supplying restaurant quality, grass-fed, grass-finished Australian meat directly to our customers' doors. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Customer Service & Administration Assistant to join our team on a casual basis.

This is a adaptable, work-from-home role starting at around 2 shifts per week - including weekend work to assist with day-to-day customer inquiries and operational administration. As our business continues to grow, this role has robust potential to expand into additional hours and responsibilities for the right person.

While the role is fully remote, you must be based in Greater Melbourne for team alignment, occasional catch-ups, and ease of communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Support: Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries via email, chat, and phone regarding orders, subscription adjustments, and deliveries.
- Order Management & Admin: Handle routine e-commerce administration, order updates, and logistics tracking to ensure smooth dispatch.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer delivery or product inquiries with care, maintaining our high standard of customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration:



Work closely with the Administration Manager and Customer Service team to report recurring issues or customer feedback.

What We Are Looking For

- Location: Must live in Melbourne, Victoria.
- Experience: 1+ years of customer service or administrative experience (e-commerce, Shopify, or retail experience is a major plus).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills with a friendly, professional tone.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating customer support platforms, e-commerce backend software, and daily communication tools.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work autonomously from home with high attention to detail and strong time management.
- Availability: Available for 2 shifts per week, including weekends with room to take on more hours as demand increases.
