Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager

Fraser Coast, QLD | Solar Farm & BESS | Contract or Permanent

I have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to join the delivery team on a major renewable energy development on Queensland's Fraser Coast.

Working across a $40M bulk earthworks package, you'll oversee the construction of a 350-hectare Solar Farm and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), including PV benches, substation and BESS platforms, access roads, hardstands, cut-to-fill operations, imported fill and pavement works. The project is currently underway and scheduled through to 2027.

The Role

You'll take ownership of day-to-day site delivery, managing site teams, subcontractors and plant while ensuring production targets, commercial outcomes and client requirements are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing daily construction activities and site resources
- Progress claims and remeasurable quantity management
- Variations, claims,



EOTs and contract administration
- Coordination of geotechnical and NATA testing requirements
- Programme tracking, reporting and stakeholder management
- Weekly project reporting to senior management

About You

- 7+ years' experience in civil construction and bulk earthworks
- Renewable energy, infrastructure or large greenfield project experience
- Strong background in claims, variations and remeasurable contracts (AS4000 preferred)
- Civil Engineering degree
- RPEQ (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong commercial and leadership capability
- White Card and Driver's Licence
