The Role: As our Telecommunications Technician you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining telecommunications equipment, including cabling, modems, routers, antennas, and NBN systems. Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding on voice, data, and internet services to ensure service quality and performance.
- Perform on-site service calls to residential and commercial clients for new installations, upgrades, or troubleshooting.
- Terminate and test copper and fibre optic cables using industry-standard tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, network schematics, and customer service orders.
- Liaise with clients to identify service needs, explain technical issues, and provide professional support.
