Step Relief Healthcare is looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Medical Receptionist to join our team in Maribyrnong.

You're an experienced medical or allied health receptionist who understands how a busy healthcare clinic operates.

You're warm, approachable and confident communicating with patients. You're organised, detail-oriented and don't need someone constantly looking over your shoulder to get things done.

Most importantly, you want to contribute.

You're not someone who simply sits behind the desk waiting for their shift to finish. You take ownership, look for ways to improve things and genuinely care about the team and the business.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous medical or allied health reception experience.
- Is warm and welcoming with excellent people skills.
- Is highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Communicates confidently with patients.
- Is proactive and takes initiative.
- Has strong computer and administration skills.
- Is reliable, adaptable and works well within a team.
- Takes ownership and enjoys contributing ideas to improve the business.

As the Medical Receptionist at Step Relief Healthcare, you'll play an important role in keeping the clinic running smoothly and ensuring every patient has a great experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing patient bookings and appointments.
- Answering incoming phone calls and emails.




- Greeting patients and creating a welcoming experience.
- Processing payments and handling health fund claims.
- Managing patient records and general administration.
- Coordinating administrative projects, including patient recalls and logging cancellations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve day-to-day processes and clinic operations.

You'll be an important part of the patient experience and the wider team.

Earn between $28-$33 per hour, depending on experience.
