An opportunity has arisen to join our dental team at Withers Dental. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist who is eager to learn, grow and take on a broad role within our busy, modern practice.

This is a permanent casual position, with the potential to progress to permanent part-time or full-time employment for the right candidate who meets the requirements of the role. The position currently offers approximately 28–40 hours per week, with training commencing as soon as possible.

Our team:

Withers Dental is a long-standing dental practice with a history dating back to the 1940s. We provide comprehensive dental care for children, teenagers, and adults, with a focus on personalised treatment, patient comfort, and long-term oral health. Our surgery is located in the heart of Toowoomba CBD and currently consist of five dentist, four skilled oral health therapists, and one skilled hygienist.

About the Role:

As our Dental Receptionist, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for every patient. You will be the first and last face our patients see, helping ensure their experience with us is friendly, skilled, and seamless.

Your front office responsibilities will include:

- Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service.
- Answering telephone calls and assisting with patient enquiries.
- Completing accounts and general administrative tasks.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
- Maintaining a professional, organised,



and welcoming reception area.

You will be supported by an experienced mentor and provided with on-the-job training to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the position.

For the right candidate, there will also be opportunities to expand your role as training progresses, including clinically assisting our Dentists and Hygienists, as well as undertaking dental sterilisation duties.

- Are reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to a long-term career in a dental environment.
- Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.

- Are eager to learn and willing to undertake training and further education.
- Have confidence using computers and an interest in the dental industry.
- Previous dental experience is not essential, although experience in dental reception, dental assisting or a similar role will be highly regarded. We are more than happy to train the right person who demonstrates the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
