About the role

Leading Events caterer and leading a small team, we are looking for a talented Head Chef to maintain and create high end events cuisine. As Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in driving the culinary vision and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This is a full-time position

What you'll be doing

- Lead and deliver consistently high-quality meals
- Develop and implement creative, menus that showcase your culinary expertise
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations and adherence to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with the management team to optimise kitchen workflows and costs
- Foster a positive, productive and engaged kitchen culture
- Monitor food quality, presentation and portion control
- Participate in procurement and inventory management

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef with a reputable history
- Strong background in contemporary Australian, French and Mediterranean cuisine
- Excellent culinary skills, including food preparation, plating and presentation




- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a kitchen team
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Passion for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
- Commitment to upholding food safety and hygiene standards
