We are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join a growing construction team, working across a range of commercial fit-out, refurbishment and interior construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the complexities of fit-out construction and enjoys being hands-on, coordinating trades, managing subcontractor packages and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.

The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams, your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating and managing subcontractor packages across multiple fit-out disciplines.
- Managing procurement, tendering and subcontractor engagement.
- Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
- Coordinating site activities to ensure works are delivered in accordance with project programmes.
- Monitoring project progress, quality and compliance.
- Managing RFIs, technical queries and project documentation.
- Liaising with architects, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Identifying and resolving construction issues and assisting with practical site solutions.
- Monitoring costs,



variations and project reporting.
- Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with relevant safety and quality requirements.

About You

To be considered for this position, you MUST have:

- Previous experience working as a Construction Engineer, Project Engineer or similar within commercial fit-out construction.
- A solid understanding of interior fit-out, refurbishment and construction methodologies.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple trade packages.
- Strong procurement and project coordination skills.
- The ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work within a quick-paced construction environment.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience in commercial fit-out construction. General building or civil construction experience alone will not be sufficient.
