We are looking for a reliable, practical and self-motivated person to assist with the ongoing maintenance and presentation of a private property.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, can work independently and takes pride in keeping a property and its grounds looking exceptionally well maintained.
The role will include:
- Lawn mowing and general lawn care
- Confident operation of mowers, whipper snippers and other garden machinery
- Hedging, pruning and general garden maintenance
- Weed control and keeping garden areas tidy
- General property maintenance and handyman jobs
- Identifying jobs that need doing and getting on with them without needing constant direction
- Maintaining tools, machinery and work areas
- Assisting with other practical jobs around the property as required
We are particularly looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable and has a valuable eye for detail.
You don’t necessarily need to be a qualified gardener, but previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping, property maintenance, farming or a similar hands-on role would be highly regarded.
Experience with hedging and pruning would be an advantage, along with confidence operating machinery safely.
The right person will be someone who can arrive, assess what needs attention and work through jobs efficiently and independently.
