Wanted: Social Media Marketing Specialist (Account Manager)
Full time, Prahran, VIC ($70k - $80k + super)
We’re Milkbar Digital, a social-first creative content agency in Prahran. We look after social for national and global brands across food, fashion, FMCG and retail. We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist / Account Manager to own a folio of clients, from strategy through to paid performance.
What you’ll do
- Own the relationship with your client folio. You’ll run WIPs, present strategy and scopes of work, digest briefs and manage feedback.
- Build social media strategies tied to each client’s business objectives and ROI.
- Plan and manage Meta (Instagram, Facebook) and TikTok content calendars, with basic graphic/asset creation/design, copywriting, ideation and approvals.
- Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns in Meta and TikTok Ads Manager, and manage client budgets.
- Analyse campaign performance and turn the data into reports with explicit insights and next steps.
- Work alongside our in-house creative team on fresh content ideas that solve real client problems.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years in social media marketing, agency or client-side.
- A degree in marketing, communications or similar, or equivalent industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with Meta and TikTok Ads Manager and paid budgets.
- Strong writing and presentation skills. You can hold a room.
- Experience juggling multiple clients and deadlines.
- A good eye for design and branding. Photoshop or mobile video editing is a bonus.
