Four Hundred is a Mexican-inspired rooftop bar and kitchen in the heart of North Sydney, sitting above Greenwood Plaza. With a buzzing atmosphere, great food and a serious love of tequila, we’re one of the North Shore’s favourite spots for after-work drinks, long lunches and weekend sessions.

About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic, hands-on Floor Supervisor to join our front of house team. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to lead service on the floor, support and motivate the team, and make sure every guest has a great experience, from a quick drink to a large group booking.

This role could also suit an experienced Senior Waiter who is ready to take the next step in their career and move into a leadership position.

It’s a casual role offering around 30 hours per week. Four Hundred trades Tuesday to Saturday, and you’ll need to be available across all five trading days, including day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise floor service, keeping it smooth, efficient and guest-focused
- Help run pre-shift briefings and allocate sections and duties to the team
- Train, coach and support front of house staff to maintain service standards
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally and promptly




- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to keep service running seamlessly
- Support functions, events and large group bookings on the day
- Assist with opening and closing the venue, including cash handling and floor checks
- Make sure RSA, WHS and venue compliance standards are followed at all times
- Step up to support the Duty Manager and Restaurant Manager when needed

About You

- À la carte restaurant experience (essential)
- At least 1–2 years’ experience as a supervisor or senior waiter in a busy restaurant, bar or venue
- A current NSW RSA (essential)
- Confident leading by example in a high-volume, quick-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with POS and booking systems (SevenRooms experience is a bonus)
- Passion for food, drinks and hospitality, with an interest in agave spirits a plus
- Availability Tuesday to Saturday
