About the Role

VERTIQLE CARPENTRY is seeking a reliable and motivated Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will undertake general carpentry work, assist with construction activities, and ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

This is an in office position based at 9 Diosma Court, Cranbourne North, VIC 3977.

We are looking for someone with at least one year of relevant carpentry experience who can work effectively, follow instructions, and deliver quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Reading and interpreting building plans, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Measuring, marking, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and other building materials.
- Constructing and erecting wall frames, ceiling frames, and other structural components as required.
- Installing flooring systems, doors, window frames, external cladding, and other carpentry components.
- Assembling and installing timber structures and fixtures using appropriate tools, fasteners, and equipment.




- Preparing materials and layouts according to project specifications.
- Checking measurements, alignment, and structural accuracy to ensure quality workmanship.
- Repairing, replacing, and renovating existing timber structures and fittings where required.
- Operating and maintaining carpentry tools and equipment safely.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Working collaboratively with other tradespeople to complete projects within required timeframes.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

- A minimum of one year of relevant carpentry work experience.
- Practical knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- The ability to measure, cut, assemble, and install building components accurately.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- The ability to follow construction plans, instructions, and project requirements.
- A reliable, organised, and responsible approach to work.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
