ROLLER OPERATOR - IMMEDIATE START - GILEAD

Ndigi Group is seeking an experienced roller operator for civil construction work at Figtree Hill, Gilead.

Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm. Weekly pay.

Roles and responsibilities

- Operate rollers to compact soil, gravel and road base to project requirements.
- Complete daily prestart inspections and routine machinery checks.
- Follow site supervisor instructions and coordinate with other plant operators.
- Work safely around workers, vehicles and other machinery.
- Follow site safety procedures and Safe Work Method Statements.
- Report equipment faults, hazards and incidents promptly.
- Keep machinery clean and assist with general site duties when required.

Requirements

- Valid White Card.




- Roller operator ticket or Certificate of Competency covering roller operation.
- Previous roller operating experience on civil construction or earthworks projects.
- Understanding of compaction methods and protected plant operation.
- Reliable transport and appropriate PPE.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work full shifts.
- Available for an immediate start.
