The Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO) with resources industry experience to join our team in a site-based role at Bald Hill Lithium Mine.

Working an 8:6 roster at one of our owner-operated lithium mines, you will join a small, close-knit team of medical, emergency response and safety professionals.

Exposure to road crash rescue, firefighting, mining or crushing operations would be a significant advantage.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

- Respond to and coordinate all emergencies onsite.
- Provide 24/7 onsite medical and pre-hospital emergency care, including necessary assessments and treatments.
- Maintain and manage medical and emergency equipment and supplies.
- Liaise with medical professionals and the Injury Management Team to coordinate care.
- Ensure all medical records, forms and statutory reporting are completed and confidentially managed.
- Uphold compliance with Poisons Licence requirements and relevant legislation.
- Support disease prevention strategies and remain current with best practices in patient care.
- Review, update and contribute to Emergency and Safety Management Plans.
- Conduct onsite fitness-for-work testing, including drug, alcohol, fatigue, mental health and hydration assessments.
- Participate in risk assessments, inductions, training, toolbox talks and incident investigations.
- Promote health and safety, report hazards and participate in debriefs.
- Prepare weekly statistics, conduct inspections and perform system audits as required.
- Deliver emergency, fire and first aid training onsite.

What will you bring?

- Experience in the same or a similar medical emergency services role onsite.
- Certificate IV or Diploma of Emergency Health Care.




- Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue with specialised units.
- Drug and alcohol testing.
- Basic firefighting.
- Hazmat.
- Rope rescue and confined space rescue qualifications desirable.
- BG4 certificate (for our underground sites only).
- RIIERR303E Operate in self-contained regenerative oxygen breathing apparatus.
- RIIERR305E Control underground fire.
- RIIERR307E Extricate casualties from underground incidents.
- RIIERR309E Establish and operate from fresh air base.
- RIIERR403E Lead rescue teams.
- C Class driver's licence essential; HR/MR driver's licence advantageous but not essential.
