An established refrigeration and air conditioning contractor is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician / Team Leader to join its growing Brisbane service division.

With just under 40 employees across Brisbane and the Gold Coast and an expanding commercial portfolio, the business offers support to develop your skills and scope to take on greater responsibility.

The chance

Working alongside the HVAC Service Manager, you’ll combine technical support and hands-on service work with customer liaison, quoting and invoicing. The balance will reflect your experience, with training available where needed.

Clients include pubs, clubs, retail sites and large daycare chains. Equipment includes package units, splits, cassettes, ducted systems and VRF, with some commercial and industrial chillers.

The majority of work is across Brisbane, the northern Gold Coast, Ipswich and up to the Sunshine Coast.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting technicians with fault finding, technical advice and complex repairs.
- Helping junior technicians develop their skills and confidence.
- Building customer relationships and managing selected client accounts.
- Preparing quotes, completing invoicing and maintaining job information.




- Providing hands-on support during busy periods and assisting with installations when required.

About you

- You could be an HVAC Team Leader, Leading Hand or Service Supervisor looking for a new opportunity, or an experienced HVAC Service Technician ready to step up. Training and support are available for someone progressing into leadership.
- A trade qualification in air conditioning and refrigeration, ideally with three or more years of post-trade experience.
- Strong commercial HVAC service, maintenance and fault-finding skills.
- Confidence supporting other technicians and communicating with customers.
- An organised, hands-on approach.
- Experience with quoting and invoicing, or a willingness to learn.

What’s on offer

- Alternatively, $110,000–$130,000 salary for someone with established leadership and customer coordination experience.

- Standard hours generally around 7:30am–4:00pm, adjusted to suit site requirements.
- No current emergency call-out roster.
- Overtime as required, with occasional weekend work generally voluntary.
