Major Infrastructure Projects | 12-Month Contract | Adelaide

We're partnering with a leading South Australian utility to find an experienced Operational Readiness Engineer (Electrical) to support the delivery of major capital infrastructure projects. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of project delivery, asset management and reliability engineering, ensuring critical electrical assets are ready for safe, reliable operation from day one.

The Opportunity

Working within a specialist Reliability Engineering team, you'll play a key role across a portfolio of major projects, helping establish the maintenance, reliability and operational frameworks required for successful asset handover and long-term performance.

You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, maintenance teams and operational stakeholders to ensure new assets are commissioned with reliability, maintainability and lifecycle performance at the forefront.

What You'll Be Doing

- Delivering operational readiness and reliability engineering support across major capital projects
- Developing maintenance and asset management strategies for new electrical infrastructure
- Establishing maintenance frameworks and asset data within Maximo
- Applying reliability engineering tools and methodologies to optimise asset performance
- Supporting predictive, condition-based and smart maintenance programs
- Reviewing and auditing maintenance and reliability standards




- Partnering with project and operational teams to achieve successful project outcomes
- Driving improvements in asset availability, maintainability and lifecycle performance

About You

You'll bring experience from utilities, water, power generation, mining, or other asset-intensive industries where reliability and asset performance are critical.

We're looking for:

- Degree qualified Electrical Engineer
- Proven experience in reliability, maintenance or asset management engineering
- Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability best practices
- Experience applying reliability methodologies to complex or critical assets
- Exposure to CMMS platforms such as Maximo
- Ability to work across project and operational environments
- Postgraduate qualifications in Reliability Engineering highly regarded
