Our client is a specialist family law boutique in the Sydney CBD that works entirely on referral. Its clients have complex financial circumstances, and many matters involve corporate trust structures, superannuation and property portfolios in the hundreds of millions. They are looking for a Family Lawyer with 2-4 years' PAE, and a commercial background would be a real advantage.

About the Team:

A deliberately small team: a senior partner (Doyles Guided), three solicitors at different experience levels, a paralegal and an experienced legal secretary. No red tape, and reward is based on individual merit.

Features of the opportunity:

• Guide salary range: $90,000-$130,000, depending on experience
• Property matters involving corporate trust structures, superannuation and estates well in excess of $10 million
• Direct carriage of your own files from day one, with an open-door senior partner as your mentor
• Admin-heavy tasks (indexing disclosure, briefs, client intake, billing) handled by the paralegal and legal secretary
• Individual performance bonus, LEAP software and a culture that actively manages workload to prevent burnout

The Position

You will run your own caseload with a robust focus on property and financial matters, including:
• Drafting property advices involving corporate trust structures and superannuation
• Liaising with forensic accountants and specialist tax lawyers on complex financial issues
• Drafting Applications for Consent Orders,



initiating documents and affidavits
• Preparing briefs to counsel and mediation position papers
• Appearing at directions and procedural hearings
• Working in LEAP for document management and time recording

About You

• 2-4 years' PAE, including family law experience
• Commercial, corporate or commercial litigation experience is highly regarded
• A genuine interest in family property and financial work
• Organised and independent, and comfortable working collaboratively in a small team
• Based in, or able to work from, the Sydney CBD
