Payroll Officer
Temp to Perm | $45-$50 p/h | Perth

We’re looking for a capable Payroll Officer with at least 3 years’ experience who can hit the ground running and confidently manage payroll in a busy operational environment. Experience within the mining industry or working with complex rosters would be highly regarded.

This is a great opportunity to join an established business on a temp-to-perm basis, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Processing end-to-end payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Managing timesheets, attendance records and employee pay information
- Reviewing and processing overtime, allowances, penalties and leave entitlements
- Working with operational teams to resolve timesheet and payroll queries
- Ensuring payroll is processed in line with relevant awards, agreements and company policies
- Maintaining accurate employee payroll records and information
- Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting




- Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Supporting month-end and EOFY payroll requirements
- Providing general support to the wider finance team as required

Ideally, you’ll bring:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a payroll position
- Previous experience within mining, resources or a similar operational environment highly regarded
- Experience processing payroll for employees working across different rosters and shifts
- Pronto experience preferred, but not essential.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, allowances, overtime and entitlements
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
