Our client is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Full-Time Truck Driver to join their transport team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe loading, transportation, delivery, and positioning of silos and related products while providing exceptional customer service and supporting the continued success of the business’s operations.

About the Role

As a key member of the transport team, you will:

- Safely load, secure, transport and unload silos, silo components and other products

- Ensure compliance with all NHVR regulations, road transport requirements and company procedures

- Deliver products to customer sites and position them according to customer requirements

- Conduct pre-start inspections, safety checks and maintain accurate transport records

- Assist with the training and mentoring of new truck and pilot vehicle drivers

- Maintain vehicles, trailers, toolkits and load restraint equipment to a high standard

- Report vehicle, trailer and product damage promptly

- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the transport department

- Promote a professional company image and provide outstanding customer service

- Assist as a pilot driver, labourer or within the factory when deliveries are not scheduled

- Contribute to general yard, site maintenance and production activities as required

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:





- Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence

- Strong understanding of road transport safety requirements

- Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement

- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications eg. Excel and outlook

- Professional presentation and strong work ethic

Highly Regarded:

- Experience transporting oversize or over-mass loads

- Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) requirements

- Experience interpreting and following VicRoads OSOM (Over Size Over Mass) route directions

- Mechanical aptitude and experience undertaking basic vehicle and trailer maintenance

- Experience training or mentoring drivers
