Join a team where your planning skills keep critical electrical infrastructure moving.

Are you an organised, forward‑thinking planner who thrives in a fast‑paced service environment? Do you enjoy solving problems, coordinating people, and making sure the right work happens at the right time? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for a Service Planner & Scheduler to play a key role in supporting our transformer service operations. In this role, you’ll make sure installation, maintenance, repair, and pre‑commissioning activities are efficiently planned, resourced, and delivered safely - every time.

What you’ll be doing

As our Service Planner & Scheduler, you’ll be at the heart of service delivery by:

- Planning and scheduling transformer service work including installations, maintenance, repairs, inspections, and pre‑commissioning.

- Allocating technicians and resources based on skills, availability, and operational priorities.

- Working closely with procurement and regional teams to ensure materials and equipment arrive on time.

- Monitoring job progress and adjusting schedules as required - including managing delays, changes, or urgent requests.

- Keeping service teams and key stakeholders informed with clear schedule updates.

- Maintaining accurate work orders, planning data,

and scheduling documentation within our systems.

- Ensuring all scheduling reflects safety, compliance, and quality requirements.

- Tracking technician availability, workloads, and material lead times to support operational forecasting.

What you’ll bring

Essential:

- Experience in planning or scheduling within industrial, electrical, or service-based environments.

- Excellent organisation and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Confidence using planning or scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, ERP, or service management systems).

- Robust communication and problem‑solving skills.

Well‑regarded:

- Experience in transformer servicing or heavy electrical equipment.

- Industry background in electrical or industrial services.

- Relevant qualifications (Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent experience) in project planning, logistics, engineering support, or operations coordination.

Why you’ll love this role

You’ll step into a position that truly makes an impact - ensuring technicians are supported, customers are looked after, and service work runs smoothly from start to finish. If you enjoy coordinating moving parts, improving processes, and working in a collaborative environment, this role gives you the chance to shine.
