Fateh Jewellers is a jewellery manufacturing business based in Melbourne, Victoria, specialising in custom-made gold jewellery, traditional Indian-style Kadas, bangles, bracelets and precision jewellery manufacturing.

Our manufacturing facility is equipped with CNC jewellery machines, laser cutting equipment, bangle forming equipment, polishing machines and other specialised jewellery manufacturing tools.

We undertake various stages of jewellery production in-house, including design development, CNC machining, gold Kada forming, bangle manufacturing, laser cutting, finishing, polishing and customised jewellery production.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Jewellery Machine Operator with practical knowledge of traditional Indian-style gold Kada and bangle manufacturing to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and manage CNC jewellery manufacturing machines specifically used for producing gold Kadas, bangles and bracelets.

- Set up CNC machines, adjust operating parameters, select appropriate tools and perform machining operations according to jewellery design requirements.

- Manufacture traditional Indian-style gold Kadas, Sikh Kadas, Punjabi-style Kadas, gold bangles and customised bracelets.

- Perform Kada and bangle forming, shaping, sizing, bending and other jewellery manufacturing processes.

- Manufacture and fit Kada end caps, bangle end caps and other decorative jewellery components.

- Work with gold and other precious metals while maintaining accuracy, quality and minimising material wastage.

- Read and interpret jewellery designs, measurements, patterns and manufacturing specifications.

- Assist with CNC-based jewellery engraving, decorative patterns, cutting and design work.

- Support laser cutting and other jewellery manufacturing processes where trained and required.





- Perform jewellery filing, grinding, finishing, buffing and polishing where required.

- Check manufactured pieces for correct dimensions, weight, shape, surface finish and overall quality.

- Maintain CNC machines, tools and equipment through routine cleaning, inspection and basic maintenance.

- Identify and troubleshoot common machine operation and production issues.

- Work collaboratively with the jewellery design and manufacturing team to complete customised customer orders.

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, particularly when handling machinery and precious metals.

Skills and Experience Required

Essential Requirements:

- Previous hands-on experience operating CNC machines used in jewellery manufacturing, particularly gold Kada, bangle or bracelet production.

- Strong practical understanding of Indian-style gold Kada and bangle manufacturing techniques.

- Knowledge of Kada forming, shaping, sizing, cutting and finishing processes.

- Ability to set up and independently operate jewellery CNC machines.

- Understanding of jewellery measurements, precision cutting and manufacturing tolerances.

- Experience working with gold and other precious metals.

- Ability to read jewellery designs and convert design specifications into finished jewellery products.

- High attention to detail, accuracy and workmanship.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a jewellery production team.

Highly Desirable Skills:

- Experience in manufacturing traditional Punjabi and Indian-style gold Kadas.

- Experience producing various Kada profiles, patterns, sizes and customised bangle designs.

- Knowledge of Kada end-cap manufacturing and fitting.

- Jewellery CNC programming,



tooling and machine troubleshooting experience.

- Familiarity with jewellery CAD/CAM design software.

- Experience operating laser cutting or laser engraving equipment.

- Knowledge of gold polishing, finishing, shaping and fabrication processes.

- Previous experience working in a jewellery manufacturing factory or workshop.

The ideal candidate will understand both traditional jewellery craftsmanship and modern CNC manufacturing processes.

This is a specialised jewellery manufacturing position, not a general industrial CNC machining role.

Candidates with previous experience in gold Kada production, Indian jewellery workshops or specialised bangle manufacturing facilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
