About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven Product Applications Manager to drive the growth and market success of a portfolio of advanced life science technologies across Australia and New Zealand.

In this role, you will drive revenue growth, expand market presence, building strategic supplier and customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Working closely with sales teams and key stakeholders, you will develop and execute portfolio strategies, support product launches and drive commercial performance across the region.

Leveraging your understanding of customer workflows and market trends, you will also deliver technical and application support, deliver customer training and demonstrations, and help ensure successful adoption of our solutions.



The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with a scientific background and a passion for bringing innovative technologies to market. Experience in spatial biology, genomics, sequencing, single-cell analysis, proteomics, transcriptomics, or related life science technologies is highly desirable.

What You Will Deliver

- Drive sales growth, profitability, and portfolio performance across ANZ

- Develop and execute product, marketing, and business plans with suppliers and internal stakeholders

- Manage forecasting, inventory, pricing, and product master data

- Lead product launches, market positioning, and supplier onboarding activities

- Support tenders, quotations, and technical proposals

- Identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities through market analysis

- Build and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships

- Act as the technical and scientific expert for assigned product portfolios

- Deliver product demonstrations, technical consultations, customer training, and application support

- Support sales teams on strategic opportunities and customer evaluations

- Develop technical resources and training programs to enhance team capability

- Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to suppliers and internal teams

- Champion continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and a customer-focused culture

What You Bring

- Degree in Life Sciences, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics,



Proteomics, Spatial Biology, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline (MSc or PhD highly regarded)

- Experience in Product Management, Applications Support, Scientific Sales, or a similar commercial scientific role

- Solid knowledge of genomics, sequencing, spatial biology, proteomics, transcriptomics, molecular biology, or related workflows

- Experience supporting scientific instrumentation and laboratory technologies

- Commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, pricing, and portfolio management

- Strong presentation, training, and technical communication skills

- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, researchers, and internal stakeholders

- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across diverse teams and cultures
