The Opportunity

We're seeking a Tier 1 Systems Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. You'll provide remote and onsite IT support to a diverse range of business customers, diagnosing and resolving technical issues and helping users with their day-to-day IT challenges.

This role suits someone who enjoys working with customers, can explain technical concepts clearly and takes pride in providing friendly, professional support.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing first-line IT support via phone, email, tickets and onsite visits

- Troubleshooting desktop, hardware, software, networking and user issues

- Supporting Microsoft 365 / Office 365 environments, including users, mailboxes and permissions

- Setting up new users, laptops, desktops, software and peripherals





- Diagnosing Wi-Fi, network connection, printer and scanner issues

- Accurately logging and tracking time and work in ConnectWise

- Knowing when to resolve issues independently and when to escalate to Tier 2 or senior engineers

- Participating in client meetings, reviews and onsite support as required

- Working collaboratively with the wider service delivery and engineering teams.

What You'll Bring

- Experience in a Managed Services or fast-paced IT support environment

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft / Office 365

- Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with customers

- The ability to explain technical issues in plain English

- Good time management and attention to detail

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn

- A relevant IT qualification or progress towards certifications such as Microsoft, Azure or AWS.
