As we continue to grow, we are seeking an ambitious and driven Business Development & State Leader to lead our South Australian operations, drive business growth, and inspire our Adelaide-based team to achieve extraordinary results.

About the Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for growing the Diamonds Select presence across South Australia whilst leading the day-to-day operations and performance of our Adelaide showroom.

This role combines strategic business development with hands-on leadership, requiring a proactive professional who can identify new opportunities, build strong partnerships, develop high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

- Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives for South Australia.

- Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and referral channels.

- Build strong relationships with industry professionals, local businesses, wedding vendors, and our corporate partners.

- Actively network within the local business community to increase brand awareness and market presence.





- Explore new revenue streams and growth opportunities across both brands.

Leadership & Team Development

- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Adelaide showroom team.

- Create a high-performance culture focused on results, accountability, and customer experience.

- Recruit, train, and develop team members.

- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and ongoing development planning.

- Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Sales & Commercial Performance

- Drive sales growth and profitability.

- Monitor KPIs, sales targets, and business performance metrics.

- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Implement strategies to maximise lead conversion and customer retention.

- Take ownership of showroom performance outcomes.

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

- Deliver and uphold an exceptional customer experience.

- Lead by example through professional and consultative selling.

- Ensure the highest standards of presentation, service, and operational excellence.

- Represent both Solid Gold Diamonds and Adamas Diamonds with professionalism and integrity.

About You





The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a solid commercial mindset and proven experience growing businesses and developing teams.

You will possess:

- Proven success in business development, sales leadership, or commercial management.

- A strong ability to identify growth opportunities and convert them into results.

- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

- Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams.

- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.

- Experience analysing performance metrics and implementing growth strategies.

- Outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills.

- A proactive, self-motivated, and results-focused approach.

- Luxury retail, jewellery, premium sales, or consultative sales experience will be highly regarded.
