The role:
Searo is seeking motivated A-Grade Electricians to join our growing team, with a strong pipeline of work across renewable energy and EV charging we're looking for electricians from a range of backgrounds to support projects across these areas.
You don't need to have experience across every sector. Whether your background is in major renewables, EV charging or battery systems, we're interested in hearing from you.
With projects commencing across Australia, we're looking for A-Grade Electricians based in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide. Opportunities include metro-based projects as well as regional works requiring periods of living away from home.
Who are you?
- You have a Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
- You have a white card, EWP & High-Risk ticket
- Strong background in either EV installation, renewables or infrastructure
- Able to commit to periods of living away from home in regional areas for EV and solar farm projects as required
- You have strong communication and problem-solving skills with a commitment to safety
- Have a robust understanding of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, and related standards
- SAA Accreditation preferred
Your everyday:
- Completing electrical install, testing and commissioning
- Performing maintenance, fault-finding and troubleshooting on solar and battery systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawing and specifications
- Identification and reporting of defects or non-conformances
- Working independently and managing competing priorities
- Adherence to all site safety, environmental, and quality requirements
