Civil Supervisor role at a glance

- $100 – $105 per hour plus penalties depending on experience, plus superannuation

- 11.5 Hours per day + 30 minutes travel

- DIDO on a 2/1 roster

- Ongoing work for the right candidate

- Reporting to the Project Manager

Tasks & responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate civil crews, formwork crews and subcontractors

- Plan, set up and run gantry pours, including pour sequencing, concrete supply, and pump and crane coordination

- Oversee formwork erection, inspection and stripping to design and temporary works requirements

- Read and interpret drawings, temporary works designs and specifications

- Manage ITPs, hold points and pre-pour inspections

- Run pre-starts and toolbox talks, and enforce SWMS, JSEAs and permits

- Allocate daily resources and plan short-term programs, labour and materials

- Monitor productivity,



quality and HSEQ compliance

- Maintain daily diaries, timesheets and project records

- Build strong relationships with clients, engineers and subcontractors

Qualifications & experience

- Significant experience in a civil construction supervisory role

- Strong hands-on formwork background (tanks, slabs, walls, footings, bridge decks, headstocks or similar)

- Demonstrated experience planning and running gantry pours

- Solid understanding of concrete placement, curing and finishing

- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and construction compliance

- Current White Card (Construction Induction)

- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence

- Certificate IV in WHS or Civil Construction Supervision (Desirable)

- HR Licence (Desirable)

- Rigging / Dogging tickets (Desirable)

- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (Desirable)

- Ability to provide at least two contactable work-related references
