We have partnered with a well-established organisation based in Brisbane's CBD, just a short walk from Central Station. You'll join an ambitious and successful organisation with a collaborative and supportive working environment, backed by an approachable leadership team.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading statutory, regulatory and management reporting, including overseeing month-end processes, treasury activities and external audits. You will provide high-level analysis and insights into the organisation's financial performance, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial information to support strategic decision-making.

This is a 6-month contract, with 2 days WFH after a successful handover.

You will:

- Prepare statutory financial statements
- Coordinate and lead all external audit activities
- Maintain and oversee financial accounts, including the general ledger and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce monthly financial results and analysis
- Assist with the preparation, coordination and consolidation of the annual budget
- Oversee treasury and liquidity management activities, ensuring effective cash flow forecasting
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice




- Provide financial advice and guidance to support senior stakeholders

You are:

A qualified Senior Accountant who is comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders and has experience working in a large, complex, high-volume workplace

- CA/CPA qualified
- Advanced Excel capabilities
- Significant experience in financial reporting, analysis and managing external audits
