Join the team behind some of Brisbane’s biggest events and experiences. As a Security Officer, you'll support the Precinct Protection & Logistics Manager to help keep our world-class precinct safe, secure, and running smoothly. From major events to the Ekka, no two days are the same.

This is a permanent part-time prospect, with the flexibility to work up to full-time hours.

What You'll Do

- Support day-to-day safety, security, and logistics operations across the precinct.

- Assist with security planning, procedures, and event operations.

- Monitor security systems, control room operations, access control, and alarms.

- Conduct incident reporting, risk assessments, and operational documentation.

- Support emergency response, first aid, and workplace safety initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with RSA requirements, crowd management practices, and Queensland liquor legislation.

To be successful you will require:

- Security License (Class 1) with Crowd Control & Monitoring

- RSA Certificate (RMLV desirable, not requirement)





- Current QLD Driver's License

- Forklift License (desirable, not requirement)

- CPR & First Aid certified

The 22-hectare precinct, just 1.5kms from the CBD attracts a million visitors a year and is the state’s largest indoor / outdoor events space featuring the vibrant King Street dining precinct and the five-star Royal International Convention Centre.
