Chef – Sydney Airport Domestic Airport T2 (SSP Australia)

About the Role

SSP Australia is seeking experienced Chefs to join our Kitchen at Sydney Airport T2 on a Part-time or Full-time basis.

You will work alongside a professional Head Chef and an experienced culinary team, supported by strong leadership. We are looking for chefs from Commis Chef to Chef de Partie level, particularly those with experience in bistro-style service, mainly breakfast.

The ideal candidate will be confident in food preparation and cooking, able to manage the pass during service, and capable of supporting the smooth operation of a busy kitchen. You will maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, food safety and kitchen operations while bringing a positive, can-do attitude to the team.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Chef in a similar kitchen environment

- Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery (Essential)

- Food Handlers Certificate (Essential)

- Experience working in a large or high-volume kitchen team

- Confident in cooking and managing the pass

- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices

- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks in a quick-paced environment

- A positive, collaborative and can-do attitude with a passion for food
