Cairns Regional Council is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Ticketlink team as a CSO Ticketlink.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Ensure all customers ticketing needs are met in a speedy, accurate, efficient and friendly manner.

- Provide a friendly and efficient public information service for all events ticketed by Ticketlink.

- Provide excellent frontline customer service at Cairns Performing Arts Centre box office for all customers of the precinct, actively working to solve customer problems and provide accurate, timely and appropriate information.

- Adhere to all reporting procedures required by the Ticketing & Sales Team Leader.

- Maintain the box-office and surrounding display areas in a neat and tidy condition.

- Participate in improvement processes and in establishing new procedures for Ticketlink.

- Work as a Ticket Seller across the Creative Life Venues and events primarily at Cairns Performing Arts Centre, Tanks Arts Centre & Munro Martin Parklands.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience and sound skills in cash handling, administration, and technology suitable to a ticketing service environment.





- A robust commitment to the highest level of customer service.

- Proficient keyboard / data entry skills with a minimum of 98% accuracy.

- Task and goal oriented with a commitment to quality.

- Demonstrated ability to deal face-to-face or over the phone with difficult customers.

- Ability to use tact, confidentiality and discretion.

- Knowledge of the principles of effective teamwork.
