Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Client Services & Adobe Illustrator operator to join our busy Adelaide signage team. This hybrid role bridges the gap between our clients and our production floor. You will act as the primary point of contact for client project flows—managing emails, processing orders, and handling the proofing of client artwork using Adobe Illustrator.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in a rapid-paced signage or wide-format print environment, demonstrating excellent communication skills alongside solid vector file management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Client Liaison & Administration

- Inbox Management: Manage the primary customer service inbox, responding promptly to incoming proof requests, order updates and client queries.

- Project Communication: Act as the central link between clients and the production team to keep projects moving on schedule.

- Revision Management: Translate client feedback into actionable design or layout updates, clearly managing expectations around production timelines.

Prepress & Proofing (Adobe Illustrator)

- Artwork Setup: Review customer-supplied vector files and logo assets in Adobe Illustrator,



ensuring they meet production-ready specifications.

- Pre-flight Checks: Verify paths, bleed, margins, image resolution, transparency settings, and color profiles (CMYK, Spot, and Pantone matching).

- Client Proofing: Generate accurate digital layout proofs and mockups for client sign-off before manufacturing begins.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in the signage, wide-format print, or graphics industry. (Preferable)

- Software Proficiency: Confident, hands-on skill with Adobe Illustrator (specifically handling vector layouts, clipping masks, outlines, and scale setups).

- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first approach.

- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot formatting errors, spelling mistakes, or file inconsistencies before they reach production.

- Time Management: Highly organized individual capable of balancing multiple project deadlines simultaneously.

Desirable (But Not Essential)

- Basic understanding of signage substrates, vinyl wrapping, or large-format print processes.
