Karras Cold Logistics is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to support the efficient day-to-day operation of our cold storage facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will coordinate warehouse and dock activities, labour resources, inventory management, and operational workflows while ensuring exceptional customer service, safety, quality, and compliance standards are maintained.

This role suits a highly organised and proactive individual who is comfortable coordinating operations while remaining actively involved in warehouse activities when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily warehouse and dock operations, including receivals, put-away, inventory movements, order picking, loading and dispatch.

- Plan and allocate labour resources, including rostering and labour hire requirements, to meet customer and operational demands.

- Lead and support warehouse team members to achieve safety, service, productivity and quality targets.

- Collaborate with transport providers, allocators and internal teams to ensure efficient freight movements and service delivery.

- Manage inventory accuracy, order releases, stock control and warehouse documentation.

- Monitor dock utilisation and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

- Investigate and document service failures, stock discrepancies, damages and loss incidents, implementing corrective actions where required.

- Conduct toolbox talks and support training and development initiatives within the warehouse team.

- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cold chain compliance, HACCP/GMP requirements and workplace safety.

- Operate forklifts and perform warehouse duties as required to support operational requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, transport or cold storage operations, ideally in a coordination or supervisory capacity.

- Current Forklift Licence with experience operating high-reach, double-deep and counterbalance forklifts.

- Solid knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanning technology and Microsoft Office applications.

- Experience coordinating staff, resources and workflow in a fast-paced operational environment.

- Sound understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), load restraint, HACCP/GMP standards and cold chain compliance.

- Experience with pallet control systems, including CHEP and Loscam.

- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.

- A hands-on approach with a commitment to safety, customer service and continuous improvement.

- The ability to work comfortably within a temperature-controlled cold storage environment.
