Risk, Compliance & Business Improvement Consultant Contract / Casual | Flexible Engagement
Make a real impact through business improvement. We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Risk, Compliance & Business Improvement Consultant to work alongside management and subject matter experts on a range of business improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on, senior-level opportunity for someone who can review existing business systems, processes and governance frameworks, identify risks and compliance gaps, recommend practical solutions and drive improvements through to implementation.
You will bring solid commercial judgement, strategic thinking and proven project management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver outcomes at pace.
Key Responsibilities

- Review existing risk management, compliance and business processes.
- Identify operational risks, compliance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Assess cyber security, IT-related risks and governance frameworks.
- Research, evaluate and recommend practical business solutions.
- Lead and deliver approved business improvement projects from planning through to implementation.




- Apply established project management and business improvement methodologies to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with management, internal subject matter experts and external providers.

About You

- Proven experience in senior risk, compliance, governance or business management roles.
- Exposure to cyber security, IT risk and corporate governance.
- Strong project management and business improvement experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially astute, practical and solutions-focused.
- Comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership and hitting the ground running.
