Manawee Garden Centre is a long established retail garden centre based in Buderim who are seeking a part-time Retail Assistant to join our friendly team. You will be the face of our garden centre, delivering exceptional customer service whilst supporting the smooth operation of our retail environment.

We are currently looking for an experienced retail assistant to work in our gift shop who has a genuine passion for working with our customers. This is a part-time position and does include weekend work.

To be successful in this role you must have retail experience working in a busy environment and point of sale knowledge.

What you'll be doing:

- Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance with product selection and gardening advice

- Processing customer transactions accurately at the point of sale using our retail systems

- Maintaining clean, organised and visually appealing displays

- Restocking shelves and ensuring products are properly priced and labelled

- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally and courteously

- Assisting with receiving and unpacking new stock deliveries

- Operating the cash register and processing various payment methods

- Supporting the team with general housekeeping and daily opening and closing procedures

What we're looking for:

- Previous retail experience and Point of Sale knowledge

- The ability to work one day each weekend (Saturday or Sunday)

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service





- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Physical capability to lift, carry and arrange products safely throughout the working day

- Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to work

- A willingness to learn about plants, gardening products and seasonal trends

- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping customers achieve their gardening goals
