Role Description This full-time hybrid System Engineer role based in Canberra (Melbourne, Adelaide may be considered), with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The System Engineer will design, implement, and maintain systems and infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across settings. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and administering servers and networks, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders.



The role also involves contributing to system architecture design, documenting configurations and procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Current AGSVA Security Clearance
Candidates should hold or able to obtain Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia
Candidates should possess robust Defence / DDG project experience
Candidates should possess strong One Defence Capability System experience
Candidates should possess solid Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills, including experience planning, implementing, and optimising complex technical environments.
