Fremantle Diesel Services is a small owned and family operated business based in the Fremantle area. We have a small team of enthusiastic people and are looking for a Light Vehicle Mechanic who is highly motivated and dedicated to join our team and grow with us.

This hands-on role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing on a range of vehicles and equipment for both internal fleet and external customers.

You'll be exposed to working on all a variety of vehicles including petrol and diesel cars, buses, campervans, small, rigid trucks and trailers

This is an excellent prospect for a mechanic who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-past environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship

Please note location is in Fremantle area, applicants will need to reside within CBD

Key Duties Include:
Inspection,



diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and mechanical components
Performing scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs
Identifying faults and carrying out effective repairs to engines, transmission, breaks and hydraulics
Reading and interpreting workshop manuals and technical documentation
Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring all work meets safety standards
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and OEM specifications

Key Requirements:
Australian recognised Mechanical Trade qualification
Practical experience working as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
Solid diagnostic and excellent fault-finding skills with the ability to carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance
Failure analysis concepts and exposure
Commitment to high-quality, protected work practices
Valid Driver's Licence
