Childcare Cook - bring your passion for cooking into a nurturing early learning workplace!

We’re seeking a warm, reliable and experienced Cook to join our team at Charley’s Place Bernoth Centre, preparing nutritious and delicious meals for children aged 6 weeks - 5 years.

Charley’s Place Bernoth Centre is a newly renovated early learning centre with a modern kitchen and facilities.

What You’ll Do:
Prepare and serve healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks
Ensure meals meet allergy, cultural and dietary needs
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards
Plan weekly menus aligned with nutrition guidelines
Work closely with the Centre Director and Educators to support children’s wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:
Experience cooking in a childcare, school, or aged care setting




Knowledge of allergy-secure food preparation and handling
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
A genuine love for creating meals that children enjoy
Organised, dependable, and able to work independently
